Pope Francis has delivered a blunt denunciation of Republican presidential contender Donald Trump. The pope said, when directly asked about Trump and his proposals to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, that “a person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian.” The pontiff made the comments on board the papal plane heading from Mexico to Rome.
