WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillbrand says she did round table meetings across the state on Friday, talking about illegal gun trafficking.
The senator has introduced legislation to make gun trafficking a federal crime. “I’ve introduced commonsense bipartisan legislation to finally make gun trafficking a federal crime so our law enforcement has the tools and resources to prosecute traffickers and stop the flow of illegal guns into our communities,” Gillibrand said on Facebook. “How many people must be killed before we act to protect our communities and stop the scourge of gun violence in our country?”
